With 28 years of musical experience and 16 years of teaching the Kanun, I have designed a flexible and well-paced course that can make you a proficient player of the Kanun in just one and a half years. Classes run in 3 20-week semesters. This is the main program presently on offer at Hira Music School and it takes you from zero musical knowledge to performing your favourite pieces on the kanun!
